Jorge Valdes

Jorge Valdes started providing insurance and investment solutions for South Florida business owners in 1989. His initial training in the industry was so confusing and convoluted that he vowed to abandon what his mentors had preached. Today, he aims to simplify benefits solutions, so his clients have a complete understanding of what they are getting.

Jessica Valdes

Jessica graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations as well as minors in Business Administration & Marketing. Upon graduating, she entered the Teach for America program. Passionate about empowering those in need, she spent the next two years serving her community. She credits her experience in the program with helping her understand how to break down and simplify complicated concepts. It’s that experience now guides her when educating both employers and employees about their benefits packages.

David Bezanilla

As a former HR manager for the FPL Turkey Point nuclear plant, David Bezanilla fully understands the pressures and pitfalls that come with doing human resources. He uses that experience as his base for building relationships with HR directors across the tri-county area. After graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, David was at Florida Power & Light for 19 years. While there he worked his way up from Customer Service Generalist all the way up to Employee Benefits Director.

Tony Sigler

Antonio Sigler, or “Tony” for short, is an expert sales professional with over 19 years of experience. In 2018, he joined Financial Designs as a Licensed Agent. Sigler’s career began with an entrepreneurial venture. He ran a successful company from 2000 to 2012. His experience taught him the importance of providing stellar customer service and networking with like-minded business owners.

Krystal Sigler

Just after high school, Krystal joined Financial Designs. Starting out when we only had 3 employees, she learned every aspect of the business, from handling claims to fielding calls to processing applications. Growing alongside Financial Designs, she worked her way to Director of Renewals. As one of our most knowledgeable staff members, Krystal often helps with presenting benefits packages. She enjoys the challenge of navigating situations and finding the right policy for our clients at every renewal, priding herself on finding solutions in an ever-evolving market.

Mercy Bezanilla

Mercy always felt an attraction to a career in customer service. She started out at a mortgage loan processing office. There she guided home buyers through the process and made sure they were properly set up when buying their home. When the housing market crash came in 2008, she found herself at a crossroads. Still wanting to help people during important decisions, Mercy found Financial Designs and decided that it was the best fit for her. The client first culture was the perfect fit for her skill set.
