Jessica Valdes graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and minors in Business Administration and Marketing. After graduation, she joined the Teach for America program, driven by her passion for empowering those in need. For two years, she served her community, gaining valuable experience in breaking down complex concepts into clear, understandable ideas. Today, she applies that skill when educating employers and employees about their benefits packages.
Following her time in Teach for America, Jessica returned to Financial Designs, where she had previously held a variety of roles. With a deep understanding of the company’s operations, she stepped into the role of COO and focused on streamlining processes, boosting productivity, and ensuring that the multi-generational team worked at peak performance. Her attention to detail also guides her in helping clients select benefits that meet their needs.
Jessica’s mission is to help employers recognize the value of their employees’ overall wellness—physical, mental, and financial. She believes that when employees thrive, so does the business.
