David Bezanilla brings a wealth of real-world HR experience to his role at Financial Designs. As a former HR manager for the FPL Turkey Point nuclear plant, he understands the demands and challenges HR professionals face. He draws on that experience to build strong, collaborative relationships with HR directors across the tri-county area.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida International University, David spent 19 years at Florida Power & Light, advancing from Customer Service Generalist to Employee Benefits Director. This progression gave him an in-depth understanding of both employee needs and organizational goals.
In 2006, David joined Financial Designs as an agent and is now the company’s Vice President. He is proud to offer his clients the flexibility and freedom of choice he once sought as an HR director. His insight from working on both sides of the employee benefits equation allows him to create solutions that truly align with client needs. David is committed to helping businesses thrive by equipping them with the tools to attract, grow, and retain top talent.
