Jorge Valdes started providing insurance and investment solutions for South Florida business owners in 1989. His initial training in the industry was so confusing and convoluted that he vowed to be different. Today, he aims to simplify benefits solutions instead of honing in on the complex solutions his mentors preached.
Valdes’ proprietary approach has proven to be the key ingredient in the overarching success of Financial Designs. Since he founded his company, Valdes has provided clear solutions and services to business owners to create effective and simple benefits programs. As he built a team of dedicated and honest professionals, he led by example and showed his team how to provide outstanding service to clients on all occasions. Additionally, Valdes has branched out to offer financial advice on taxes, retirement, and estate planning.
Today, Financial Designs is renowned as one of the top agencies in all categories. It has also been a Top of the Table member since 2000.
According to Valdes himself, “We like to keep it simple and logical. Most other agencies confuse owners and HR directors with many options, while we narrow those down and tell you what we would do in your shoes and why.”

With over two decades of industry experience under his belt, David Bezanilla joined Financial Designs in 2006.
After graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, David served Florida Power & Light for 19 years in multiple positions, including Customer Service Generalist, Human Resources Consultant, Turkey Point Nuclear HR Manager, and Employee Benefit Director.
With well-rounded experience and vast knowledge of human resources and employee benefits, David brings his expertise to Financial Designs and eagerly helps clients find the best solutions for their specific needs.
Jessica Valdes brings over 5 years of employee benefits experience to the table. She has been a valued member of the Financial Designs team since 2009. Her experience in all facets of the company provides her with a well-rounded understanding of all the provisions of creating and maintaining a successful employee benefits package.
Valdes graduated from the University of Miami in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Minors in both Business and Marketing. Upon graduation, Valdes entered the Teach for America program and spent two years using her skills to serve the community she dearly loves.
According to Valdes, her experience with Teach for America provided her with the foundation to educate both employers and employees on complex topics such as health insurance, life insurance, and retirement planning. Her extensive knowledge of employee benefits empowers her to simplify her wisdom to make it easy to understand for everyone she works with.
Valdes primarily focuses on helping employers realize the benefits of wellness—physical, mental, and financial—so they can keep their employees happy and healthy.
Antonio Sigler, or “Tony” for short, is an expert sales professional with over 19 years of experience. In 2018, he joined Financial Designs as a Licensed Agent.
Sigler’s career began with an entrepreneurial venture. He ran a successful company from 2000 to 2012. His experience taught him the importance of providing stellar customer service and networking with like-minded business owners.
He honed his skills even more in a position with AutoNation, one of the largest automotive retailers in the United States. He became a top producer and eventually earned the title of Director of Finance. He quickly became a master of business budgeting, financial planning, and team leadership.
As a valued member of the Financial Designs team, Sigler is an upstanding sales professional who focuses not only on selling, but providing the maximum value to business owners so they can improve employee retention and morale.
Genir has 17 years of business to business sales experience. He spent nine years at ADP’s Small Business Division cultivating relationships with CPA’s, Bankers, and HR professionals in South Florida. Genir then transitioned to ADP’s PEO division ADP TotalSource working with midsized clients in both sales and leadership for five years. The PEO is a complex sale involving benefits strategy, retirement, and HR technology in addition to traditional payroll sales. Next, Genir transitioned to Paylocity as the Director of Sales for South Florida, the Caribbean, and Puerto Rico growing that market exponentially in three years. Our goal is to create strategic partnerships that will generate a better client experience.
